A very tiring week

Tired

It all drags from Monday alllll the way till yesterday. It's like a mini marathon of short sleeping time followed by mazing through obstacle of stupid people. I thought Thursday was pretty awesome. Singtel's CRC had our own teambuilding session and my first thought was it's gonna super lame playing games with old people and all but as soon as the games began, the thought in my head changed. Those old people are few of the most sporting bunch ever. Well, I had fun. Eating half a watermelon in under 5 minutes wasn't cool at all. The aftermath was worst; bloated tummy, ulcer and seeds in between teeth.

Oh yeah, for the second time, I became a lady. First was school, where I became Miss Swan, last thursday was nominee for Miss CRC. It's 10 times worst as it involves putting on make up. I fucking swear lipstick taste like shit. You can't talk properly and it all dries up on your lips. To make it worst, it stains! It was really a memorable day and not to forget food was super might good also. I'm so gonna miss them.

Parade and pretty girls

First part of the yesterday was bullshit because I hate working on weekends. Yeah, so I survived till six. Luckily most of the customers whom I called were really polite except this 54 years old virgin. Cranky lady. So after six, freeeedom! Met up with Ian and Ivan to catch the Chingay 2008. It was my first Chingay parade and I think it was really nice. They started off with the F1. As the super fast speedy gonzalez zoomed pass, my heart says, "I'm soooo gonna buy the tix for the grand prix this coming September." The feeling was really shiokkk. So back to the parade, it lasted for about 1 and a half hours as cheerful performers dominated Esplanade drive.

The not so happening part of Chingay was when my L-CA dropped along with the coloursplash flash attached. The feeling wasn't cool at all. It landed straight on the drain, "THUD!"Ok moral of the story is to stick to one cam only when shooting parades. But still my darling's ok.

Friday wasn't so fun after all. Sudden gush of lethargy flowing in my blood pipe right now. Work's been a big female dog. I don't even know what I'm talking. Tomorrow shoot! Chingay. I'm mentally prepared for all the knnccbmoronic crowd I'll face tomorrow. LCA, Velvia 50, Ian and kit lens will be my buddies tomorrow.

Lion roars

Last Saturday, we had a small gathering and caught the lion dance at Uncle Mike's shop. These lions are not the ones where you've seen on Animal Planet; lazy and lethargic. Quiet happening as it was my first time watching lion dancing around and peeling oranges. So as usual, we hang out at haji for awhile before moving to Marina. Bowling with the guys are damn fun. Humble chaps, but ownage scores and yeah so it was 11 when we stop bowling but we didnt went home. I caught my first movie for this year and it was really goooood. Juno is a must watch. Ellen Page is damn awesome and the script is really fantastic. I love the soundtracks too. I always think $9.50 is too much for a movie but Juno makes me think otherwise.

My Saturday was near perfect because pay was still in lalaland nevertheless it was fun, fun and fun. Once again it was with the lomo people, normal chill out beer session with loads of crapping and teasing. I'll probably lost 2kg yesterday because 90% of the distance i traveled was covered by foot and to make it worst Lara walks like Speedy Gonzalez. Brekos is a nice chill out place with beer and lots of good food. Well, life at Singtel gonna end soon. No more stupid customers and getting angry for nothing but I'll definitely miss my colleagues there.

Gotta thank Saiful, he got me a Vans Sk8 Hi for $30. Next shoes in my list will be Puma Suede, Vans Old Skool and another Onitsuka Tiger. Mummy gonna scream at me cos the shoes cabinet is overpopulated by my shoes.
